I can only find the dessert version of DVDs of Paula's Home Cooking. Of course, I've only looked at Target and Borders, but I just wondered if anyone here knew when/if/where to buy DVDs of the show?

Check out my new Paula avatar, ya'll!
BTW...someone had asked how to add text to an avatar, you need a program like Paint Shop Pro to do it.
For some real easy directions on how to add text to your avatar, check this link out. Youll have it done real quick like lol ;-)http://www.india-forums.com/forum_posts.asp?TID=70387
Hope that helps!

I LOVE THIS WOMAN!!!
Oh! How I sing the praises of this woman! My husband is sooo sick of me talking about her! I can watch her shows no matter how many times Ive seen them! There is no one on FoodNetWork or any other cooking show more loveable than Mrs D!
She makes me happy in a way I cant explain, makes me smile! Just watching her is comforting, like good ole' home cookin' at grandmas! Gives you that warm in your tummy and happy in your soul feeling!
Why does this woman have only 1hr a day (2 30min shows) devoted to her? Why do more annoying and hated FoodNetWork chefs have 2-3 shows and waste air space with hours of annoying shows a day? MORE MRS D! MORE MRS D!
Let's start a protest!

It's the birthday of mayonnaise!
D'ya think Paula is celebrating?
Heck, that's a stupid question. I guess I should ask: How
is Paula celebrating? And for how long? And will she invite me over?
I wonder when the birthday of butter is...That must be a major
event at the Deen household!

(Sorry...had to do that!)
During my insomniacital wanderings through the Internets this morning, I found this story
about Paula and the Make A Wish Foundation, and thought I'd share.
I hope this isn't terribly off-topic here, but I was just wondering how many Paula Deen fans watched the first episode (or any of the subsequent ones) of Road Tasted?
Honestly, I'm not quite sure whether I like the show or not. Bobby and Jamie have great personalities, but it reminded me a little too much of Food Finds. I really think they'd be better off with their own cooking show.

I don't know which one of the Deen boys said this, but I just caught it on a commercial and thought it was funny:
"What's better than cake? FRIED CAKE!"
|Thursday, May 11th, 2006|
is just heavenly. We had it with barbeque pulled pork and coleslaw-a southern favorite!
P.S. I posted once before about loving her Chocolate Rum Cake-I'm making it for my mom and grandma for Mother's Day!

I am jealous.
Do you or someone you know want Food Network star Paula Deen's help popping the question?
Do you have a passion for cooking and good food and want to surprise the one you love with the ULTIMATE PROPOSAL??
Paula has some great ideas to make this a moment you will never forget!
If you or someone you know fits this description, please send an e-mail along with a photo to email@example.com
P.S- Must be available Saturday May 13th

My new favorite Paula Deen quote, from today's episode (12pm central)
"You just want to mix your sour cream and your mayonaise together, two of my favorite condiments." - Paula Deen

I can't believe I didn't search for this community sooner. But anyway...
Hi! My name is Bre, and I'm a huge Paula fan. I make at least one of her recipes every week. She's my hero, y'all!
Anyone watch the Lady and Sons cookoff show? I ROFL'd at the ending! (I don't want to give it away.) Current Mood: amused

Just joined today. I've been watching a lot more Paula since I've stopped working and I've been making a few of her things. I made her Meatloaf and Potatos from the Elvis themed show and they were good!
I just got her latest magazine and it is great! Full of cassarole recipes. I made the Potato Omlette cassarole for games night and it was a huge hit!
I <3 Paula!

Paula's Cooking School...
I'm new to this community-I didn't even know that Paula HAD an LJ community devoted to her, or I think I'd have been the first to sign up! I'm such a fan; and being a Georgia girl myself and frequenting Savannah as a kid, I love the food she makes-it takes me back to my childhood. She and my grandma are the only good, true southern cooks that I know of (Though Paula's a lot younger), and they make a lot of the same things! With that in mind, I just finished making the Chocolate Rum Cake that was featured on Paula's "cooking school" special on Food Network right after her Chefography (I loved her Chefography!), and it is TO DIE FOR! You can find the recipe here
And how many of us wish we could attend one of her "cooking school" classes?!?!?!!!! Current Mood: chipper

I sure wish this community was more active! hehe! ANYWAYS, I just read Paula Deen's new magazine (it hasn't been out very long), and I love it a lot! I was a great magazine, and everyone who loves Paula should pick up a copy. I got mine at the local Piggly Wiggly so I'm sure that other grocery stores have it.

Paula Deen icon!
I made a Paula Deen icon. Feel free to use it. She's my favorite Food Network personality. So naturally, I had to poke some good natured fun at her!
Credit me if you use it!

So, I got Paula's cookbook set for Christmas ...
Last night, I decided i'd make something.
The cheese biscuits were gone (there were 12 of them between 3 people) in about a half hour. They were THAT good.
